The New York Botanical Garden, Garden Cafe and Terrace Room, Bronx, New York

The Damon G. Douglas Company constructed a 16,000 square foot dining/catering facility for the century-old New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx, a 250-acre oasis of landscapes and garden settings. The new Garden Cafe and Terrace Room enable NYBG to host fund raising and social functions as well as receptions - private and public. The ballroom accommodates up to 350 for formal dining. Construction of the earth-tone masonry facade structure features high glass-arched doorways, and windows complementing the beautiful garden setting. The Garden Cafe and Terrace Room is one of 21 capital projects to be completed during the Campaign for the Garden, a $175 million, seven-year master plan designed to restore and revitalize the Garden. The Damon G. Douglas Company team is pleased to be an integral part of the development program.
